How Can Eldership Be Spiritual and Enjoyable?

Authentic community according to Psalm 133 is brothers and sisters doing more than living under the same roof—it is “living together in unity.” The level of community experienced in any organization will be directly related to the level of community experienced by the highest level of leadership in that organization. This issue challenges elders and leaders to cultivate open communication and to take steps to learn together in community as a central part of their role.
