Ditmar Pauck
Regional Director, Brazil
Ditmar
is the first Regional Director established as part of our Passing
the Baton initiative and is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ditmar and his wife
Maura were both born and raised in Brazil. Around the age of 17, they each
moved to different countries to pursue their studies: Ditmar in Germany, and
Maura in the USA. Eventually, they met in Texas while in their final months
of ministry preparation at Dallas Theological Seminary. There they
discovered they shared the same calling: to come alongside new leaders (both
lay and vocational) in developing countries and assist them through
teaching, mentoring, counseling, and simply sharing life together. Ditmar
graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree and Maura received an M.A. degree
in Christian Education, both with an emphasis on Leadership Development.
Since 2002, the couple has been ministering in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ditmar
holds leadership positions as pastor in the local church as well as in a
church plant initiative, and as director of the Church Based Theological
Seminary of the Evangelical Free Church denomination. Ditmar and Maura have
been instrumental in designing and developing the curriculum for the
seminary and have taught both professional and lay leaders since 2003.
Our
Passion...
…is to support the local church in its equipping role of
bringing all believers to maturity and many to leadership for
Christ’s mission of multiplying churches worldwide to God’s
glory.
“It was he who gave some…to prepare God’s
people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be
built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge
of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure
of the fullness of Christ.” –Ephesians 4:11-13
Our
Vision...
…is to awaken the Brazilian church to a
balanced, healthy growth through whole-life equipping of leadership
in the context of the local church.
