Ordered Learning

The
approach to learning in Discovery is unique in many ways. One of
the main points of distinction from similar tools is that it is an
ordered approach to learning. Discovery seeks to package the key
truths of the Christian faith together. Rather than getting bits and
pieces of information about the Christian life, you get an integrated,
comprehensive study of the foundational aspects of Christianity.
The Discovery Series is made up of four books to accomplish
this task. |
A study of the foundational truths of Christian living intended to
equip believers to live more godly, stable lives for Christ.

- Discovering Intimacy With God
A study of how to deepen the bond of faith between the believer and
God, by studying how God pursued you, who God has revealed Himself to
be, and how you pursue God.

- Discovering Your Role in God's Family
A study of God's purpose, mission, and plan for the local church,
and how He has uniquely designed each believer to participate fully in
His work in the world.
|
A study of biblical evangelism which gives practical tools and
training to be used in sharing the good news about Christ with friends
and family in an non-threatening way.

At
the end of the four courses, you should be well-grounded in the
foundational truths of Christianity, able to stand firm in sound
doctrine, to grow in your relationship with God, and to be fruitful in
your relationships with believers and nonbelievers. It is our goal that
what Paul said about the Colossian Christians would be true for all
those who have completed the Discovery Series: |
"For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with
you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your
faith in Christ is." -Colossians 2:5
