The
Center for Church Based Training
has just completed their 2003 Workshop schedule. We met with
365 church leaders across the country to discuss church leadership…
not simply what it is, but how to develop people, and ministry
plans, around biblical principles that will result in greater
impact for Christ.
We
asked those that attended what their greatest “take away” was
from the Workshop… here are some of the replies we have received:
“Hope
that our church can become a disciplemaking church”
“A
better understanding of what elders do and they should accomplish
their responsibilities”
“Understanding
it is the principles and not just a program”
“That
we can develop our forms by placing every idea through the lens
of Scripture”
“A
vision for a “Maturity Path” for our church, and some tools
to help us implement it”
“The
vision to broaden our leadership base… to pass the baton”
“A
conviction to make development of leaders a high priority this
next year”
