Bruce Miller
The Value of Church-Based Training
In any context, effective training programs are essential for the development of qualified leaders. Yet, too many leaders in ministry are simply adding another “program” to their already crowded schedules in hopes their people will mature and their issues will resolve. Church-based training places the greatest emphasis on the process the program is built upon and, in his presentation, Bruce takes you “back to the basics” and describes how a 2,000 year-old training process can still be effective in your life and in your ministry today.

Wayne Cordeiro
Culture Shift… Churches Growing Their Future
The
church is a living body but, sadly, many local bodies are stagnating
because they are holding onto traditions that are diverting their
energies from the mission Christ gave the church. In every ministry
is a God-designed future, and the ways we have viewed the church
in the past must be rethought. Wayne challenges you to consider
that, through building the right culture, leaders will cultivate
a living church that will grow into its future and into its God-ordained
destiny.

David Anderson
Multicultural Leadership
Dr.
Anderson founded Bridgeway Community Church to build bridges into
the community of the Baltimore-Washington metroplex and unite the
diverse people groups that are represented there. His vision statement
encourages the members of Bridgeway, “To become a multicultural
army of fully devoted followers of Christ, moving forward in unity
and love, to reach our community, our culture, and our world for
Jesus Christ.” David shares his four-phase process that has
envisioned leaders around the country to a greater impact in the
communities around them.

Randy Frazee
Making Room for Life
In Making Room for Life, Frazee shows you how—and why it's so important—to balance work and play, establish healthy boundaries, deal with children's activities and homework, bring Jesus to your neighbors, and build authentic bonds with a circle of close friends. Make all of these things a reality not by working faster or having more gadgets, but by simply choosing a lifestyle of conversation and community over a lifestyle of accumulation. Frazee's practical, motivating insights call you back to the kind of relationships and life rhythms you were created to enjoy!

Wayne Cordeiro
Structuring for Incarnation
Wayne believes that, in today's “fix it now” culture where it is easier to duplicate than incarnate, churches have fallen into the allure of cloning models and programs. Yet, God has created each church uniquely and has placed them where they are for His purposes. In eight years, New Hope Christian Fellowship in Honolulu, Hawaii, has grown to over 10,000 members and has planted 57 churches. They offer 16 services each weekend, and they don't have a permanent facility! Wayne shares how they structured New Hope and what they have learned along the way. |

Gene Getz & Jeff Jones
Passing the Leadership Baton
Dr.
Gene A. Getz has served the Christian church for over 50 years through
the seminary and local church. He organized the first Fellowship
Bible Church in the Dallas area in 1972 and, after 30+ years as
a senior pastor, has seen over 300 churches planted around the world
as a result of his ministry influence. Gene has built his ministry
around the development of people; and on January 11, 2004, he passed
the baton of leadership to his associate, Jeff Jones. In their presentation,
Gene and Jeff walk you through the principles and practices
of their succession plan … a leadership development process that
can work at all levels of church leadership. |
