Why does CCBT offer these Seminars?
Most church leaders we speak with are not satisfied with the results their current structures are producing and believe they need to change their perspectives and practices to more effectively develop the next generation of leaders. This Seminar will encourage you toward a renewed vision for your critical role in maturing believers and training leaders for significant ministry roles.

Who should attend a CCBT Seminar?
We suggest governing board members, pastoral staff, and existing and emerging leaders attend as a team to gain the full benefit of the Seminar. Church-based training is not simply a program, but is a value of development that must be owned and modeled by the leadership of the church. We have observed that if leaders are not developing themselves then the body, most likely, isn't either. Choose a Track to follow at the Seminar near you that best suits your role or ministry initiative.
What will be covered in the Seminars?
CCBT Seminars are one-day events designed to present biblical
principles of discipleship training and leadership development.
You will discuss ministry-tested pathways of implementation that
will move your people beyond information toward transformation.
A key principle you will walk away with is that spiritual growth
and training for ministry doesn't just happen, but is
accomplished through an intentional process focused around people
development and not simply program development. Choose a Track
when you register that best suits you!
Track 1 ~
Churches Training Leaders… all to maturity and many to leadership
There are many resources available to church leaders
to assist in the process of developing the spiritual maturity
of those God has entrusted to their care. But is it really as
simple as the implementation of a resource? Church-based training
is not "another program" to offer, but it is a value...
a conviction that must be embraced by existing leaders if future
leaders are going to be raised up. This Track will present biblical
principles of leadership development and discuss pathways, both
biblical and practical, that will move people toward being equipped
to serve in significant ministry roles.
Track 2 ~ Leaders Training Leaders… leadership
that is spiritual, effective and enjoyable
At the highest level of leadership in the local
church are people who, according to the writer of Hebrews, will
give an account for the spiritual welfare of those God is entrusting
to their care. If that is true, why do so many leadership teams
spend the majority of their time and energy around the more administrative
issues of the church? This Track will present biblical principles
of primary leadership and discuss pathways, both biblical and
practical, that will encourage governing boards toward a greater
focus on their role as spiritual shepherds in addition to being
responsible managers.

Who will be leading the Seminars?
1-2 Leaders will be present at each Seminar.
